This explains what is collected when you request a booking or take part in filmed content, and what happens to it afterwards.
What is collected
When you request a booking: your first name, last name if you give it, an email address or a mobile number, your Instagram handle if you choose to add it, and anything you write in the notes.
For a mobile appointment: the suburb and postcode you want the cut at, and the street address if you supply one.
Automatically: a one-way scrambled version of your internet address, used only to stop automated abuse of the booking form. The actual address is never stored and cannot be recovered from what is kept.
What it is used for
Answering your booking request, confirming the appointment, and getting to your door if it is a mobile cut.
Keeping a record of past appointments so Nathan remembers what worked last time.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Photos, video and your story
None of these happen unless you specifically agree to them, one by one. Agreeing to a photo of your haircut is not agreeing to be interviewed, and neither is agreeing to your name being used.
Each permission is recorded separately with the date and the exact wording you agreed to. You can withdraw any of them at any time.
How long it is kept
Booking and appointment records are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards.
You can ask for your information to be deleted. Tell Nathan and it will be removed, other than anything that has to be kept as a record of consent that was given or withdrawn.
Who else can see it
The information lives in a hosted database with access restricted to Nathan and anyone he specifically gives an account to. Different staff roles see different things — private client notes and raw footage are not visible to everyone.
