Media Consent Policy

How photography, video, interviews and personal stories are handled. This is the policy the booking system actually enforces, not a statement of intent.
Consent is never one checkbox
Each of these is a separate permission, recorded separately: still photography, video, voice recording, taking part in an interview, publishing on social media, publishing on this website, use in paid advertising, AI-assisted images, AI-assisted animation, using your first name, using your full name, using your personal story, and mentioning your family.
Agreeing to one does not agree to any of the others.
What gets recorded
For every permission: what you agreed to, the exact version of the wording you saw, the date and time, how it was collected, and who recorded it if a staff member did.
Consent records are added, never edited. Changing your mind creates a new record rather than overwriting the old one, so the history stays honest.
Withdrawing
You can withdraw any permission at any time, without giving a reason.
The system will then refuse to publish anything that depended on it. This is enforced by the database itself, not by someone remembering to check.
Anything already published will be taken down.
Approval before publication
For interviews and visual stories, you see the material and approve it before it goes anywhere. You can ask for changes or for individual answers to be left out.
AI-assisted material
Where AI tools are used to help produce images or animation, that requires its own separate permission.
AI is never used to invent facts about you. Anything it drafts is treated as a draft, checked by a person, and approved by you before publication.
Age
Filmed content participants must be 18 or older.
