PRIVATE CUTS.
PUBLIC ATTITUDE.
Private one-on-one cuts from Nathan's Reservoir studio or at your place, depending where you are.

He comes to you
Nathan travels roughly thirty minutes from Reservoir. Whether he can make it depends on your suburb, the day and the run he already has booked.
Read moreNo shop. No waiting. No small talk you did not ask for.
One person at a time
You are the only appointment in the room. Nobody waiting behind you, nobody watching.
It takes the time it takes
Nathan is not turning over a chair every twenty minutes, so your cut is not rushed to hit a quota.
Talk, or do not
Some people want a conversation. Some want to sit in silence and get a good cut. Both are fine.
Your space or his
The studio in Reservoir, or your kitchen. Whichever is less hassle for you.
Actual current cuts
Nine years behind the chair and he still pays attention to what people are asking for now.
Built around a photo
Bring a reference. It is easier to match a picture than a description, and nobody minds.

Meet Nathan
22 years old.
Nine years behind the chair.
Private cuts from Reservoir or at yours.
Nathan started cutting hair at thirteen and has spent about nine years behind the chair since. He works privately, by appointment, from a studio in Reservoir — and travels to clients when the location and the day line up.
Before, and after.
No transformations published yet
Honest before-and-after work goes here once Nathan has photographed a few cuts and the client has agreed to it being shown. Nothing appears here without the client saying yes.
REAL PEOPLE. REAL STORIES. REAL CUTS.
Some clients end up on camera. Thirteen questions in the chair, or thirteen frames from a life. Always optional, always approved by the person in the chair before anything goes out.
Would Nonna approve?
An audience vote on the call of the week, and a nod to where Nathan's standards came from. Family, manners, and having an opinion about a haircut.
Does he come to you?
Nathan travels roughly thirty minutes from Reservoir. Type your suburb and you will get a straight answer — including when the answer is no.
YOUR TIME. YOUR SPACE. YOUR CUT.
Send a request with the date you want. Nathan comes back to you to confirm the time, the service and the price. Nothing is booked until he says so.
BOOK A CUTThe usual questions
- Where is the studio?
- In Reservoir, in Melbourne's north. It is a private studio rather than a shop, so the exact address is not published. You get the full address and directions once Nathan has confirmed your booking.
- How do I know whether my booking is confirmed?
- You do not, until Nathan says so. Sending the form creates a request, not an appointment. He comes back to you to confirm the date, the service and the price — and you get a confirmation with the details once he does.
- Do you travel to every suburb?
- No. Nathan travels roughly thirty minutes from Reservoir, and even inside that it depends on the day and what else is booked. Use the suburb checker for a straight answer, including when the answer is no.
- Are mobile cuts more expensive?
- There may be a travel charge depending on how far Nathan has to go. Prices and travel fees are not published yet — he confirms both when he accepts your request, before you commit to anything.
- Do I have to be filmed?
- No. Most appointments are just a haircut and that is completely normal. Filming only happens if you say yes to it, separately and in writing, and you can change your mind afterwards.
